Nigerian Army Sergeant Disguised As Lietenant Commander & 4 Fake NSCDC Officers Arrested For Robbery In Ilado Eti Osa Lagos.Pictured below is an unidentified Army Sergeant arrested yesterday in the company of 4 fake Nigerian Civil defense officials near Aja Koyi Beach in Eti Osa Lagos.

The suspects were arrested by the Ilado youths and handed over to the police.

The suspects led by the Soldier had escaped from police detention and were fleeing in a canoe when they were rearrested by the community who in company with the Ilado police post took them to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), of the Lagos state Police Command.

One of the suspects, simply identified as Oche said: “Well, there is no job in the country. My friend who is an Army Sergeant brought the idea of going to collect money from those doing illegal oil businesses. The Sergeant provided me with the uniform that I am wearing on now. I don’t know about others.

Before their arrest, they have extorted close to 1 million naira from illegal oil business owners in the area.

Their case was transferred to SCID in Panti Yaba yesterday for criminal investigation
